With the ability to machine whole sets of rolls from billet steel Metsol can deliver anything from rolls to make decking section to small rolls for forming exterior vehicle trim for one of the UK’s best high quality car manufacturers. The ability to both surface grind, internal grind and hard turn rolls in house cuts customer cost considerably and improves quality and precision as sizing will remain exact to specification even after hardening processes. Metsol can also refurbish and modify existing rolls so that your line can be kept as up to date as possible.

Rolls manufacture in tool steel can if required be turned in the hardened condition (60/62 Rockwell Scale C), to alleviate problems of distortion during hardening. Experience shows that this can be extremely beneficial particularly for “tight Tolerance” painted or coated sections.
